Terms & Conditions
These terms help keep everything clear and straightforward when you purchase a website package from Mullen Web Design.
By placing an order, requesting work to begin, paying an invoice, or making any payment (in full or in part), you agree to these
Terms & Conditions and to the Scope of Work & Project Process, which forms part of this agreement.
About the Service
Mullen Web Design provides custom website design and related services. Every website is created specifically for each client,
based on their business, branding, content and requirements.
Getting Started
After purchase (or after you accept a quote/invoice), I will contact you to arrange an initial chat to gather the information needed to begin your website.
This may include details about your services, your preferred style, any branding you already have, and any photos or content you would like included.
Payments
Website packages require payment before work begins. If your package is being paid in two stages, a 50% deposit is taken first,
with the remaining balance due when the website is finished, approved by you, and ready to go live.
Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and the Scope of Work & Project Process applies regardless of how payment is made.
This includes (but is not limited to) payment via the website checkout, debit or credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer, direct debit,
payment links, invoices, or any other method agreed between us.
Changes and Revisions
My goal is always to make sure you are genuinely happy with the final result. During the build process, reasonable adjustments can be made
to ensure the website reflects your business properly. The structured feedback stages and revision process are outlined in the
Scope of Work & Project Process.
Once a design direction has been approved and work has progressed based on that approval, later change-of-mind requests may be treated as additional work.
Any work outside the agreed package or included support time will always be discussed and confirmed with you before being charged.
Client Content and Accuracy
You are responsible for ensuring that any information you provide for your website is accurate and that you have the rights to use any text,
images or logos you supply.
If you are unsure about anything, just ask. I am always happy to guide you.
Third-Party Services
Some websites may include third-party services such as maps, embedded videos, contact form tools, or payment providers.
These services are provided by their own platforms and may be subject to their own terms and availability.
Refunds and Cancellations
Because website packages are custom digital services, refunds depend on whether work has started.
- If you change your mind and no work has yet begun, a refund can be issued.
- Once work has started, payments are non-refundable, as time and design work will already have been dedicated to your project.
For full details, please refer to the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Hosting and Renewals
Where hosting is included as part of your package, it is provided for the agreed period and within the limits of the purchased package.
Full details of hosting scope and support allowances are outlined in the
Scope of Work & Project Process.
If you choose to continue after the first year, hosting renewals are offered on a simple rolling monthly basis, with no long-term contracts.
Limitation of Liability
Every effort is made to deliver a reliable and high-quality website. However, Mullen Web Design is not liable for losses resulting from third-party outages,
hosting platform issues, plugin conflicts, external service failures, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Liability, where applicable, is limited to the total amount paid for the relevant website package.
